  • What are my options during the summer? My daycare forces me to use daycare in the summertime whether we use it or not.

    You are not obligated to use the SportsDome childcare services during the summer months.  You are also not penalized and your childcare spot is guaranteed even if you do not use childcare services during the summer months.  All CCM STUDENTS are encouraged to participate in Atlantic Hockey Group Hockey Camps during the summer.

  • What happens on PD Days and/or Snow Days when there is no school ?

    The SportsDome Academy will be open on PD Days and most Snow Days from 7:30am to 5:30pm. You can drop off your child anytime.  There is an additional fee of $15 per day for full day programming.

  • My child is currently enrolled in a Daycare. Does your program offer childcare?

    Yes, the SportsDome Academy offers childcare services.

  • What happens in September and October when my child goes to hockey tryouts ?

    There will be little to no ice-time during September to mid-October because it is important for the player to focus on tryouts and not burnout with too much ice time. The off-ice training during the initial months will also be light and focus on team-building, camaraderie, rules, discipline, familiarity with all of the sports fields and equipment.

  • Can I sign up just for the on-ice sessions twice a week?

    No. STUDENTS that don’t follow the program five days a week will not develop fast enough to keep up with the rest of the group. The 5-day program is carefully designed to progress the hockey player in ALL aspects of the game, both on-ice and off-ice.

  • Is the CCM program tax deductible?

    Yes. We will provide you a tax receipt at the end of the year.

  • How can I make the payments?

    The SportsDome Academy will setup a payment plan that will automatically charge a credit card every 2 weeks.  Super easy and convenient.

  • What is the cost of the program?

    $147 per week.  The CCM team has arranged a convenient payment plan where you make your payment biweekly.

  • When do I have to pick up my child?

    You can pick up your child at the Superior Propane Center on Tuesdays or Thursdays after 4:30pm OR anytime at the SportsDome until 5:30pm.

  • Will there be a parent session with more details and questions?

    Yes. The Atlantic Hockey Group and the SportsDome Academy will arrange a parent session. Children will also be invited to tour all of the facilities, including the Superior Propane Center, Charlie Bourgeois gym, SportsDome, Locker Area.

  • How can I register and guarantee my spot?

    We will be sending a registration link and form.

  • How many spots are there in the program?

    Phase 1 of the program will have 24 to 30 spots. There are also limited spots for pickup at various schools.

  • How do we transport hockey equipment to the arena?

    There will be a hockey equipment room at the SportsDome with a lock. Parents can drop off or pickup the equipment anytime that the SportsDome is open.  The hockey equipment will be transported back and forth from the SportsDome to the arena and back.

  • How does my child get to the arena?

    The SportsDome Academy will pickup the child from selected schools and transport to the Superior Propane Centre or the SportsDome

  • How much ice-time will be child get?

    Two hours per week.  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30

During a PRIVATE Gaming Party, the Gaming Arena can be used to create a unique shared experience just like you would find at a PC LAN Party or during an epic session of Couch Gaming.

When placing your reservation, please use the comment section to tell us about your group’s gaming preferences so we can prepare the best gaming party for you. If you would prefer a free for all where everyone can play whatever game they prefer, you may also choose this option as well.

Fridays are Gaming Night. We now offer Gaming every Friday along with Lasertag, Inflatables and Field Sports that includes:

  • $25 a person
  • 6pm – 8pm session
  • Ages 6 and over
  • No reservation required. Just show up to play.
  • All paid participants will be given a bracelet which they use to access Lasertag, Gaming, Soccer and Inflatables
  • Non-paid participants can enter and watch at no charge.
  • Children ages 11 and below must be accompanied by a responsible guardian aged 14 years or older

PRIVATE OPTION: Saturday Lasertag Parties

Saturday morning and afternoons are reserved for lasertag parties for groups. A PRIVATE Lasertag Party consists of up to 1 hour in the lasertag arena + 30 minutes in the Party Area. It includes up to to 16 people for only 278.26 + HST = $320.00. If your party is for a children’s party and you have less than 16 players, we encourage parents to participate. Children love playing against parents/coaches, etc. Party Area contains 2 picnic tables and you can bring your own food, snack, drinks, etc. Choose this option for the following benefits:

  • Reduced group pricing (pay only $320 for 16 players which comes to $20/player vs regular price of $25/player)
  • Private access to our Lasertag Arena for up to 1 hour and up to 16 players at once. No waiting in line to play.
  • 30 minutes at your party tables for meal, cake, gift exchanges or medals presentation.
  • Reserved Party Tables for entirety of your session.
  • Parents/guardians and other non-paid participants can enter and watch at no charge.
  • Showing up early, or waiting for a late pick-up? Party goers have access to our Gaming Arena to keep them entertained before and after their Lasertag session.

This session is open to the PUBLIC, and as such, both individuals and groups can come in and play, no reservations required. If you would like to use this public session for your group to host a party, you can make a reservation which give you the following benefits:

  • Reduced group pricing (pay only $320 for 16 players which comes to $20/player vs regular price of $25/player)
  • Access to all of our party activities including Lasertag, Gaming, Soccer and Inflatables.
  • 2 hour PUBLIC session instead of the PRIVATE party session which is 1hour of lasertag followed by 30 minutes of party tables
  • Party goers are free to play what they want. Taking a break from lasertag, have a go at our Gaming Arena. Long lineup at the inflatables, join in on the game of soccer or other field sports.
  • Reserved Party Tables for the 2 hour session
  • Parents/guardians and other non-paid participants can enter and watch at no charge.

The Following applies to our PUBLIC session called Friday Night Gaming:

  • 6pm – 8pm session
  • Ages 6 and over
  • No reservation required. Just show up to play.

  • Protect the VIP game mode puts a group of guerilla mercenaries against an elite team of operatives with the one goal, to Protect the VIP. The VIP must be escorted along a known route of control points. Each control point is unlocked in order, and remains active for only a short period of time. Only the VIP can capture these control points.
  • The Guerilla Mercs, respawn out of their base of operations, a log cabin up in the mountains. The Elite Operatives, have 3 lives, and body armor. The respawn automatically after 10 seconds. The VIP has
  • Working as a team to provide health and shields is essential.
  • Set up a protective perimeter around the VIP to keep them safe.
  • As a Merc, either overwhelm the Elite Operatives with wave after wave of attacks, or setup a cheeky ambush for the VIP at the next capture point
  • This game mode features SMG and Shotgun as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed. If the VIP is eliminated, the Mercenaries win. The Operatives win when the VIP captures the final control point.

  • Domination requires each team to capture control points across the lasetag arena. Each control point captured grants you 5 points for the capture, and then 1 point for every 30 seconds that it remains captured.
  • There is a mercy rule for any team who succeeds in capturing all 5 points, the game will be over and that team will be awarded the victory.
  • There is no designated respawn point for this game mode. Players respawn after 10 seconds. Working as a team to provide health and shields is essential along with grouping your numbers when moving to capture a control point.
  • Its essential to not spread your team so thin that your unable to capture and hold any control points.
  • This game mode features SMG and Shotgun as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the team with the most control point capture time wins, unless the mercy rule is put into play.

  • Squad Battle game mode plays like a Battle Royale. Up to 4 teams of 2-4 players can move freely around the map. Players have 3 lives, and will respawn automatically after 10 seconds being down.
  • Staying alive is as important as getting points in this game mode. Every life lost, is a point for an opposing team. Furthermore, the other teams are more likely to move in and tag your teammates while your down and numbers are not in your favor.
  • Working as a team and providing health and shields is essential.
  • Choosing good cover against multiple teams and not getting surrounded is essential.
  • This game mode features Pistol and Burst Rifle as taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the team with the most number eliminations wins.

  • Tug-a-War game mode is similar to King of the Hill. There are two control points, one nearest to each team’s respawn. A team is given 1 point every 5 seconds for every player alive in the capture point.
  • If both teams do nothing but stay alive in the capture point, the game will be a draw. Eventually, you need to take a risk and remove the opposing team from their capture point and claim it for your own.
  • Working as a team to provide health and shields is essential.
  • Balancing defending the respawn and closest capture point, with attacking duties is essential.
  • This game mode features Light Machinegun and Sniper as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the team with the most capture points at the end wins.

  • Snipe Duels game mode is similar to Free For All. There are not teams, and each player has 200HP. Health regenerates after 5 seconds. Points are awarded by eliminating other players. Players respawn after 5 seconds.
  • Neither of the provided taggers do enough damage in one magazine to eliminate a player. You must either target weaker players and steal the elimination, or you need to use the quick swapping ability of the pistol to do the maximum damage to a player in the shortest time to win a battle.
  • This game mode features Pistol and Sniper as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the individual with the most number of eliminations wins.

  • King of the Hill game mode awards your team for capturing and holding a single control point called the Hill. A team gets 1 point every 5 seconds for every player that occupies the Hill.
  • If a player for each time is on the Hill at the same time, no point will be awarded.
  • Working as a team to provide health and shields is essential.
  • Balancing defending your re-spawn and attacking the Hill is essential.
  • This game mode features Light Machine Gun and Sniper as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the team with the most capture time on the Hill wins.

  • Infected is the quintessential zombie apocalypse simulator. A team a survivors must work together to not be eliminated by 1 or 2 infected players. If a survivor becomes infected, they change team, and begin to attack their former teammates to spread the infection. The infected players respawn from the Hive.
  • Working as a team to provide health and shields is essential.
  • Shield generators are stronghold areas for the survivors.
  • The survivors must manage their ammo to hold out the full game against the infected.
  • This game mode features Pistol and Shotgun as the default taggers.
  • The Infected tagger is short range, but emits damage in all directions. Its full auto, and does not require reloading or any cool down.
  • The game is timed, and the Survivors win if any of them remain at the end of the game time. The Infected win when all players have been transformed into the Infected.

  • Free 4 All game mode has no teams. All players wander the arena as individuals to collect eliminations on other players. This game mode is an introductory game into the working of our lasertag arena and equipment.
  • No ‘teamers’. The admins will be watching 😉
  • This game mode features Battle Rifle and Burst Rifle as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the individual with the most number of eliminations wins.

  • Team Battle game mode is an introductory game to team based strategy in our lasertag arena. Each team tries to collect the eliminations on the other team.
  • Working as a team to provide health and shields is essential.
  • Mastering the Shield Generator stronghold positions makes this game mode playable as a solo.
  • This game mode features Battle Rifle and Burst Rifle as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the team with the most number of eliminations wins.

  • Capture the Flag requires each team to defend their own flag, while also attempting to capture the opposing team’s flag. Once you have their flag, you must bring it back to your base for a capture point. If you get tagged out while holding a flag, the flag disappears. Multiple players can have a flag at the same time.

  • This game mode features SMG and Shotgun as the default taggers.
  • The game is timed, and the team with the most number of flag captures wins.
