The SportsDome Daycare (Full Circle Academy) has been approved by the Department of Education and Early Childhood to remain OPEN for essential workers.

Essential Workers are defined as:

• health and wellness;
• food security (including private sector supply chain and retail workers);
• civic infrastructure (including employees in sectors such as telecommunications, electricity,
fire, waste collection, etc.);
• supply chain workers for critical items (including private sector employees responsible for
procurement, transportation and logistics of cleaning or medical supplies, etc.); or
• public security (including courts, correctional institutes, child protection, and Emergency
Measures Organization staff)

Additional Precautions

Our daycare is taking a series of additional precautions in order to protect our children, our employees and our community.

Space and Social Distancing

The SportsDome Daycare enjoys the most amount of indoor daycare space in the province.   Our facility is 400 feet long and 118 feet wide of open space, which is about the same size as two hockey rinks, side by side.  We utilize all of this space for our children.  So they are free to play and run around freely.  The space allocation for each child at the Dome is about 11 times larger than the recommended space requirement for licensed daycare centers.  This means that children that go to the SportsDome Daycare have 11 times more space to play with than in a regular setting.  How much space does all of this mean?  It means that we can put one child in an area that is 20 X 20 feet (400 square feet) whereas normally there would be 11 children in this same area.

Practicing and implementing social distancing is much easier when we have this much space to play with.

Do you accept part-time children?

Yes, we accept children part-time and full time as well throughout the week.  We have some customers that have access to childcare at home, however the children need a break from home and the adults also need a break.

How to register?

You must register with the Early Childhood Services Portal and someone will assign you child to one of the approved childcare centers.
